🦌🪶🐇🦉🤎 A gathering of hands, clay, and imagination at the Muskoka Arts & Crafts. 🤎🦉🐇🪶🦌

This recent sculpture workshop, held at the Chapel Gallery, became a space for exploration – where simple forms shifted and grew through touch, curiosity, and play.

We began with bunnies.
Small, familiar shapes to ground the process.
Forms loosened, ideas expanded, and a quiet transformation took place. During the freestyle hour, A fox, owls, a fish and more came to life – each one guided by the hands and instincts of its maker.

Working with air dry clay invites a kind of presence. It slows things down. It allows space for forms to unfold without pressure, and for creativity to move in unexpected directions.

It was a privilege to share this process with such an open and engaged community. Thank you for having me!

I feel helpless about the way in which the earth is breaking down, warning us in so many ways of our mistakes and of what is to come if we don't act quickly to not only reverse the damage, but create a better future for all of Earth's inhabitants and ecosystems. This series is an effort to emotionally communicate through a universal language like the arts the impacts and effects of climate change.
